The West Virginia Department of Administration Monday transferred the former West Virginia Rehabilitation Center property in Institute to WVSU. The nearly 20 acres of property adjacent to WVSU contains 15 buildings and more than 430,000 square-feet of space. WVSU is currently working on a comprehensive plan for the property. BECKLEY, W. Va.– Parts of Raleigh County are dealing with some localized flooding and high water after a storm rolled through the area late Monday night. The National Weather Service had issued a Flood Warning for central Raleigh County Monday night that expired at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.
